Little Background
Many organisation still rely on running an on-premise infrastructure that allows more control and in a longer run better cost-effectiveness. In many cases organisations would rent space or infrastructure from large data-center operators.
But in traditional sense they would get themselves locked in long term contracts where they may not get the best services or options. Also they would still need a high initial capital expenditure which is barrier for many small and medium organisations.
